This is an old one from this summer, an epic account from two other people and a reasonably boring night in which I promised to type it. So some details will be off obviously given the time elapsed but it wouldn’t be a kill story without some awesome. So we are all hanging around, nothing to do on a nice summer night hanging out with a few others. So these high-schoolers in quite a good looking older metalic orange Camaro convertible with some fancy chrome rims roll by. Somehow they issued a challenge in some way that escapes me. It might have been a rev, maybe a weak burnout into the street, something they said, or even the classy vinyl on the back of the trunk that said “The wing holds it down, and nothing holds it back.”. Regardless they were going to get beat, and beaten badly. 01audiS4 not one to miss an opportunity like this, and someone else hopped into the S4 and prepared to make take chase. What happens next can only be called a thing of beauty as he whips the Audi in a 4 wheel drift of such perfection that two random people walked over and were like “That was amazing, who was that?”, and “Holy shit they make AWD cars like that? That fucking ruled.” V6 and turbos roaring it’s taken to the street completely sideways, soon after the Camaro and Audi are lined up by the next light. At said light there is a problem though, there is a parked obstruction ahead maybe not more than 300 feet. Some revving and shit talking ensues, the Camaro owner so certain in his victory is like. “Hey, might want to watch out for that car ahead.” Followed by a flawless reply of “Don’t worry I’ll be miles ahead by then.” they laugh again certain that this random import will be of no use in a straight line. That changes quickly, as the opposing light turns yellow. The Audi is brake torqued in preparation, brakes straining to hold back the power. Turbos spooled, V-6 groaning loudly in anticipation like a freight train. Not to be outdone, the Camaro does the same in a louder tone. The light goes green, they launch. The chrome rims of the poorly tired Camaro grab at nothing and fall short spinning. The Audi tears up the pavement, fresh track rubber grabbing and not letting go as he instantly pulls a bus on them and gets in front of them by the end of the intersection. Camaro not even having a chance. Not off the line, not top-end it’s a massacre. Knowing what is coming next, the always famous “I would have won if I had traction” but it didn’t matter, as a repeat occurs again as they try in a futile attempt. And the Camaro owner and buddies just turned tail and turning off. At this point not saying a word. And thus a victory, in a rare and fabled race called a “dig”. ---

was this the buffalo gotti wanna-be’s that rolled up on a few occasions…i remember seeing an older sparkly orange muscle car at mighty a few times this past summer…sounded mean, but i guess sounding mean is about as far as its meanness went… ---

no i dont have a club, it was back when sinister visions was around, the one im thinking of wasnt sparkly it was the kids dads car it was a orange vert tastefully done no wing or anything, so i guess its not who i thought ---

That kid lives across the street from my parents. A real trailer trash family. I had to call the cops on them one day when the father was ramming his ex-wifes car with his car when she and the young kid were in it. He just kept screaming what a whore she was. ---
