you read the "tuning the right way guide’ which promotes PE hacking. i didnt need to read any of that. i learned by trial and error. You have had software longer then anyone around here. Why did it take you 5 yrs to get a grasp? you admit when you dont know something? come on now man who are you trying to pull the wool over?
you beleive SD is a crutch but tuning 101 of 411 pcms states disable MAF and tune in SD to dial vehicle in. MAF in the 411s are error correction factor. if the VE table and the corresponding parameters in the tune are dead nuts the maf has no place. the later models use a virtual VE table and use maf more then the 411s…thats little more info for ya to read up on.

Back then I didnt have the information I have now to use HPtuners. Back then u bought the software and thats all u got. U got no instruction what so ever to use with that software. Now when asian bought ur setup and ran it and I redid it it was alot better then when u had it.
understandable i was not bashing you or anything my car riped it went 11.9… with your tune i was just saying that was my only prob from you tuning was it didnt want to idle until it was warm…so…and to you maybe it was aa none of his business to say what he said but still no reason to call him fat cause if you were fat you wouldnt like it either man…it is kind of a low blow…

lol maybe u could do ur own tuning school Mr know it all. I love how whatever u do ur a Mr expert. Seriously dude u need to relieve some of the pressure from ur head before it burst.

i beleive Sam stated that he didnt know the stuff he knows back then…and he has learned alot over the few yrs just like anyone else who messes with stuff…but i heard from a few people that you quik have messed up some peoples tunes when you first started…so sam didnt do anything about my idle at the time BUT my 4.8 did go 11.9 with a stock posi and gears…so in all reality your not perfect either…

ur correct and to this day I still need to learn more. For the time I put into it I do a decent job. Its not the best but for what I charge and what u get there is no reason why anyone could complain. I do alot of these on my own personal time and what alot of people dont understand I dont need to do this. This is a hobby I enjoy in so many ways it relaxes me. This past year I could hvae had my car on the road but I choose to spend my extra time getting the blazer to where its at. I drove the blazer down the track a few times but it was more exciting watching it go down the track and seeing what it ran. That made me feel alot better then driving it. I also enjoy talking to people and telling them what setup to run. Everyone has there own hobbies and this is a hobby I can do and plus get paid to do it. My job at ups is my life and my car work is just a hobby.

well u got alot of good tuners around here for a car like urs so in all honesty why waste ur time tryin to learn. That will save u alot of time and headaches.

in youre statement. if youre not striving to be best at what you do then why even try? This isnt a jab or anything but from grade school, to highschool to college, to more schooling im in. i strive high, i fail i strive harder. this has and always will be goal.

wasnt that 11.9 on the n20 and the 12.2 on the motor? least that is what was mentioned thru grapevine years ago. as for messing up ppls tunes when i first started. 12.5 out of stock ls1 with suspension mods isnt bad, 12.7 out of stock ls1 with headers and auto isnt to bad. cars removed my tune went slower.

So then why must u bash what everyone else does? Why do u try to find faults in people? Why cant u be happy that ur able to do what u do. Why must everything u do be a compition to out do other people? There will be a day when u wake up and realize the money u spent to try to out do other was a waste of time and money. Im to the point now I can build whatever I want if I wanted to but I would rather save my money and have a nice house to live it. Living in a 100,000 house is better then living in a 100,000 car.
