Well me and a friend with a cobalt ss decided to get some photos taken and had one of the local guys with a good cam and tons of skill take some pics, so we got together and had some pics taken, and again i am impressed with his work. yea and it rains ALOT DOWN HERE… but never during when a hurrican is hitting in FL… but i hear that you guys are getting rain up there:roll2: but cant win them all… one of the good parts about being stationed in GA… that and the fact that the track is open till december:) ---

You should make some high resolution pics of the SS… something that would fit nicely on as wallpaper for my monitor set for at least 1024x768. Could look pretty sweet. ---

redline looks hott is the third pic. I like the blackout on the corners ---

not much faster, and most of it comes from the driver… (neither car is stock BTW both pushing around 240 at the wheels redline prob high 240’s cobalt low 240’s give or take) but i am the better driver of the 2 so i would win ever time. ---

240s at the wheels? Are either of those dyno proven? Thats what a pulley’d GTP puts to the wheels… with a 3800 If its true great… maybe I’m too far behind the times. 240@ wheels would be a good run for me. lets set this up 😉 ---

yes its 240 at the wheels and yes it dyno proven:) its a 2.8" pulley (stock is 3.5"), a piggy back ecu, and a drop in air filter. and i am selling the car, it will prob not be in NY again 😕 ---

That supercharged 2.0 puts down like 195 to the wheels stock doesn’t it? Cool cars, something from the General that I’d actually consider. :tup: Although I have to admit, I don’t like the hood on the Cobalt. Reminds me too much of the crappy stick-on hood scoops on last gen Cougars. ---

check the rpm that the factory puts out on those #'s they are low… the power keeps going up:) ---

The cars look great, but pay a little more attention to the background in your pics. Parking your cars in the grass behind you with just the trees in the background, instead of a fence, electrical box, lightpole, etc…would look a lot better. Also make sure the sun is at your back at all times. In a few of the shots the skyline is all washed out (totally white) because you are shooting into the light. If you are going to spend 6 hours cleaning the car for a shoot, you might as well take the extra 15 minutes to set the shot up right. ---

the fence is there intentionally, the background is washed out in the one pic because there was a big pole in it so that got choped out and the best way to get that done was with a fake sky. yes the first pic would be better if the green box was not there and the light post but can’t always win them all the cars looked nice and that is what we were taking pics of.
