# 05 Altima power steering problems

Help!

My wife’s 05 Altima (4 cylinder,5 spd) (4 months and 1100km out of factory warranty!!) suddenly today began steering problems. Nissan dealer near closing time ( and 50 miles away) suggested it may be a steering knuckle, likened it to a u-joint. I found it ok. Not much good just looking at it!! The service rep says they’ve replaced a few of these.  
Anybody out there had a similar problem?  
Sorry…I should have said that power fluid is up ok, belt seems to be turning all well.

Any “quiet” warranties??

This seems way too soon for such a part…And don’t get me talking about this car’s habit of eating rear brakes!!

Any helps / thoughts appreciated.
