Z06 is an amazing machine…Viper’s pretty stout as well. i’d LOVE to own either one. 2. Taurus _was_ designed to be good looking…in the 80’s when it was released. If I recall correctly that car paved the way for the end of the conventional box that most car companies were producing. 3. You’re right, without the SHO, no one would follow the Taurus. The only thing people like about the SHO’s were the engines. Everyone knows the platform blows. 4. the 944/951 doesn’t fit the bill of being designed with beauty in mind…that was saved for the 959. So hearing a comment about ‘coming from a SHO owner’ is a bit much. 5. Even though I own a SHO, I don’t like the car…by todays standards it’s garbage. But for it’s time it held its own. 6. I find great irony in the fact that those who rip on other cars tend to have debatable cars themselves. ---

The 959 in it’s time wasnt even considered a good looking car, the reason it had such a following was it was the first production car to have zero lift. Which is why the body is designed the way it is, and because they wanted it based off the 911 for homologation purposes for Group B, IMSA, and Paris Dakar. It was their cheater car for production classes. 944 isnt a good looking car? Then why did Mazda acknowledge the FC was completely a ripoff of it due to it’s successes in the styling department? SHO got away from box like styling? Are you fucking BLIND?
