cant go wrong with a straight 30 weight lol.

What size engine? I’d imagine its either a 5w30 or 10w30 :gotme:. My vehicles all have high milage though so I use a straight 30.

Yea it is 5w30. Pretty confident it is on the oil cap also.

5w30 its on the plastic shroud under the hood. Be ready when you take that drain plug out and oil pisses all over the frame and on the skid plates (if its a z71). Such a pain in the ass.

autozone or advanced usually has pretty good oil change deals, on your truck you can get away with conventional, what ever it says in your manual is what you should use.

I just changed my wrx oil for $30, 5 qts of castrol synthetic 10w-40 and mobile 1 oil filter 🙂

Take it to the dealer, or let an independent mechanic do it… Don’t take it to a jiffy lube or something like that.

Honestly the dealer does a good job with basic oil changes, and they use OEM parts.

They aren’t too bad, I think 24.99 is what I paid last winter when it was stupid cold out.

unless you get free oil changes, if you are on this site you should do your own.
It literally takes me 10 minutes to change my wrx oil…
i’m sure the dealer would charge like $60 to do a full synthetic change
