Nah, that’s your super-strength. You’re too modest.

Looks so good it hurts. This is going to be one mean car.

Thats a awsome build Briggs. My S13 is looking like that right now. I also cut the front out and went forward to the front frame. Very nice job indeed. Can’t wait to see that out at CSCS and Drift Mania. Is the black S14 done now? That thing took some abuse this past 08’ season. What’s in store for power out of the SR, and what size wheels you going to stuff into those wide body fenders? Keep us updated with pictures!!!

Thanks for the kind words guys, we’re really pouring our heart into this car, mostly because once its done we’re going to kill briggs and steal it.

So we’ve got the engine prepped and in the car now, we lifted it in from the bottom complete with suspension, Nissan assembly line styles. Made the most sense for us to do it this way.

Some interesting things to point out:

MA-Motorsports knuckles and lower control arms, Brian from MA modified these for us, removing the steering stop from the lower control arm and boxing it with dimple dies, as well as relocating the tie rod pickup inboard. This _HUGELY_ changes the amount the wheel turns in degrees vs. the distance the tie rod travels, giving you huge steering angle without any steering rack modifications. Also with SPL outer tie rods and TEIN inners with spacers, there is no way on earth to get more steering angle out of an S-Chassis. This car will be un-spin-out-able - ? But im sure it will tank really really hard if you eff up.

Fuel system, we’ve got a low pressure fuel pump feeding whats called a swirl pot, that the fuel pressure regulator fuel from the fuel rail returns into, as well as what the main fuel pump feeds off of. This swirl pot is designed to be 100% full all the time, cycling fuel that returns from the rail back to the tank through a bleed, and sucking fuel from the fresh low pressure feed. The design of the swirl pot is important to ensure air is always escaping out the centre of the pot and that the hot fuel from the rail is not being sucked in by the high pressure pump. We’ve used an HKS FPR -6 adapter on the rail and welded a bung on the other end of the rail to make the fuel rail -6 in and out, and using a -6 SARD FPR, everything is now using aeroquip fittings.

Brake system, has a line lock to lock out the rear brakes, for doing burnouts, exhibition donuts etc, preventing broken axles from dropping the clutch with the brakes engaged, and also preventing excessive rear brake heat. Then there is a CNC staging brake which is just being usd as a hydro ebrake, followed by a wilwood proportioning valve to tune brake balance.

Trans bracket. The Z32 5spd swap is a good idea, but the bracket included with the kit does not support the shifter sufficiently and as a result you lose shifter feel from the thing bouncing up and down all the time. We fabbed up some brackets to triangulate the shifter to the tranny, and it is now firm as OEM and with almost zero weight addition. We’ve also done some other modifications to improve the shifter feel, that should make a substantial difference when it comes to banging gears out there

Rear heater hose lines. Instead of using a rubber hose to loop the rear heater lines, we’ve welded some 316 stainless to the two heater lines coming off of the engine, eliminating the chance of any hose burst or failure, and also really cleaning up the back of the motor. Removing the lines all together isn’t possible as they are used for routing coolant through the motor when the thermostat is closed.

More to come! Here are some updated pics, sorry they are out of focus.

Post the MA knuckles for everyone to see. Those things are MADASS.

I believe Powered by Max was the first to modify the knuckles in North America, just a little FYI for everyone.

I look forward to seeing how badass the steering angle will be in real life.

Stuff looks good, keep up the great work!
