as much as i would like to take you up on your offer… I can assure you that i probably wouldn’t like the band… sorry… i really hate this entire genre of heavy, relatively slow alt rock. You are a decent drummer, but there are SO MANY bands that have a very similar sound… (i listened to a whole bunch of songs on the displaced website) I am not doing anything revolutionary by any means… though i do have a damn good idea for an original sound… just can’t seem to find anyone interested… most people don’t like fast, high pitched screaming… i do though… anyway, GL, with the show. I don’t like playing showplace for a multitude of reasons… the stupid fucking light show, high & non-intamate stage and shitty sound come to mind… ---

Yeah, we’re bringing in our own light person, and have Mike H. from I.D.T. watching over the board for us. I’m not in love with Showplace, but we have a lot of people coming to the show, so it’s the only venue that would hold it short of renting a larger place, which sucks. Anyhow, to each their own. You’re right, I’m not a fan of screamo, but can appreciate it for what it is. The offer stands if you change your mind. ---

just thought I’d mention also, I’m not actually the drummer on any of those tracks. 😉 new disc is getting recorded as we speak. ---

If no one has anything nice to say, dont say anything at all. Sounds like it would be a fun time, I will not be able to attend and I would for the sheer enjoyment of watching jeff get belligerant (sp?) lol ---
