# 1/2" or 3/4" Steel square tubing

I know people have asked for this stuff in the past, so i figured i would try and see if anyone here has scrap laying around. I need either 1/2" or 3/4" thin wall steel square tubing. either or…or a mixture of both.
im hoping for pieces anywhere from 3 to 8 feet in length…the longer the better…I need about 40 feet total.
I know where i can go buy it, but for what i am using it for, i would rather try and save some cash. (just bracing the body of my car)
let me know what ya got and how much $

gateway recycling (draftwinjrs work) had a shitload of it when I was there Saturday. they charge $.30/lb
The chick I talked to was a real bitch.
But the owner of the place seemed like a pretty sweet dude, and picked up the plate i bought + loaded it on the truck with the help of another guy there!
and some 7" Sch X-Hvy pipe.
bought all I could before I figured I’d blow up my fathers suburban :s
ended up with 900lbs :\
but rly.
the one blonde girl with shoulder length hair there is a mega bitch.

^^ HAHA ^^ ya shes the owners daughter, only there two days a week, and I agree… lol.
I know we’ve got some of that crap laying around, if you wait another two weeks when steel drops again it’ll be cheaper to buy…

well being a junkyard my boss watches the market heavily, and as far as how many truck loads we shipped this past week I have a good feeling its going down and with that layoffs are coming…
