put the diverter valve in the other way… thats why its chirping. get chipped, get an exhaust and a tip and your traping close to 100 mph in the quater and low 14’s high 13’s…if you can drive. no need for a big turbo right now if you haven’t maxed out the k03 yet ---

Yeah dude…start small and build up to it. I was runnin 15.1’s in the 1/4 mile consistently being basically stock. Like Peter said do like a TIP, exhaust or chip. I would also highly recommend a suspension. They are probably the most under rated mods on VW’s. Btw…i sent you a pm. ---

what do you mean it didn’t work? if you don’t like the chirp, get the 710N DV from the audi tt or just get the apr R1 dv. oh, the TIP was sold to a buddy of mine, i just realized that ---

You do know the reason the Samco piece ‘chirps’ as opposed to the all-so-common ‘pshhhhh’ sound is because it’s letting the air out a lot quicker than most. Quicker sound = better job it’s doing which is releasing the pressurized air in your intake pipe quick so you don’t get compressor surge. ---

oh, well in that case im gonna stick with this one because its better, I’ll just have to get used to hearing a chirp if im outside my car, or a ping if im inside my car, now all i need is to get a little more money saved up and i can buy a chip, ---

I say Garrett GT3071 Turbo for your 1.8T. My GF has a 03 Wolfsburg and when the warranty finnally runs out, shes getting a GT3071 and REVO chip and exaust. How much was your diverter valve.
