# 1 million little black spots

LOL so ever since i got my car it has just been rotting in the garage but i took it in the driveway to give it a nice wash and after cleaning it and noticeing 100003293232 little black dots they are everywhere and wont come off with soap and water… wtf
i am thinking it is some type of overspray from when my car was in the body shop for over a month? its everywhere and was never there before as far as i know

how small are the black dots? are they raised or flat? If it is overspray a claybar will take it off.

never used a clay bar any brands i should look for?
i seen a few in some stores but i guess clay is clay?

wax when your done or better yet clay, polish then wax, your car will look as clean as ever

it seems to me that i get little tiny spots of tar on my car. I use clay bar or paint thinner and they come off. What color is ur car? white cars show every little spot

Can you pick the dots off with your finger, do they smear? You can try using Goo Gone to take those off…
The only reason I would suggest against a claybar is depending on what it is it will get stuck in the clay bar and ruin it, and also you could possibly scuff the paint with the clay bar that has all that shit in it. Make sure to follow the directions too and keep the surface wet. The Mother’s kit is nice because it comes with a bottle of Quick Detailer.
I have them all over the side of my car (bright red) like the guy who owned it before drove over fresh tar. Gonna hit it with the goo gone today and see how that works.

I’ve dealt with those too, claybar won’t work. It’s actually a weird tree sap. I did a lot of commercial landscaping and people who parked around trees close to the buildings always bitched about them.
I alway picked them off gently with my fingernail.

i washed my car about 4 times now every time i use my finger nails to scrach them off… alot are gone but some smear some just come off and i can wash off with water lol
