this is the latest part made by his company, the finish on the part made for a great shot, i did 12 all together and it was quite an experience, after shoots and revisions and different methods of shooting, finally finished, and i just wanted to post this one, i have the other ones at home but i think this one looks pretty cool. first time doing product shots, should only get better with time, would definitely like to invest in a lightbox for future shots, but my sweet setup which i will post up later, was sufficient. check it out -

I think I can see where you PS’d some of the white background though… I thought my monitor was just dirty lol

yea some angles see it and some other monitors don’t, i have the 100% clean version at home though. i hated how i couldn’t notice it at home one time, then looked at the pix at another computer and i could see a ton of it. monitor calibration? or maybe the angle of the LCD im not sure

yeah thats a monitor calibration (and monitor type) issue. Betcha you’re using a PVA / MPVA panel w/ 6bit color - if you want to borrow my ColorSpyder you can, or snap up one of the new “spectra-view” NECs that include a getrag-macbeth calibrator from the factory …

It is used for contrigulating.
In other words, it assists in contrigulation.

you can get a good look at contrigulation by sticking your head up a bull’s ass but i’d rather take the butcher’s word for it.
