I agree that you should be pressing charges. I had almost an identical situation happen to me less the punching/phone throwing. Guy got out of his car and was bitching. Something about being a Marine and he’d kill me, yadda yadda. It was winter and my window was up. I just sat there, let him yell and then drove off with him standing in the road. I ran into the same guy a second time and he was acting all hard ass. I rolled my window down and asked him if he was a Marine, shouldnt he have some self control? He told me “not this Marine.” Long story short, I filed a PR in case I run into him again, it is on record. Heart rate was a little elevated, but I was literally twice the size of this guy and didnt think much of it. If he was mad enough he would have followed me as I was really close to home. Either way, I probably wouldnt have done anything about it unless it got physical. I still would have pressed charges if it happened again. ---
