Because this is what happens when you do on a saturday morning with no plans all weekend. The ~$100 in supplies: ![http://home.adelphia.net/~toomey23/images/cake_web0.jpg](http://home.adelphia.net/~toomey23/images/cake_web0.jpg) I took a million pictures of the progress but i’m too lazy to post, and likely no one cares 😛 Took all night saturday baking the 14 boxes of cake, cutting it down to basic shape and making the fondant (the smooth icing on the cakes) The dog getting dosed with powdered sugar - it was flying everywhere in the house: ![http://home.adelphia.net/~toomey23/images/cake_web6.jpg](http://home.adelphia.net/~toomey23/images/cake_web6.jpg) Annnnd, here we have my scooby cake: ![http://home.adelphia.net/~toomey23/images/cake_web1.jpg](http://home.adelphia.net/~toomey23/images/cake_web1.jpg) ![http://home.adelphia.net/~toomey23/images/cake_web2.jpg](http://home.adelphia.net/~toomey23/images/cake_web2.jpg) The fiance’s easter cake: ![http://home.adelphia.net/~toomey23/images/cake_web3.jpg](http://home.adelphia.net/~toomey23/images/cake_web3.jpg) ![http://home.adelphia.net/~toomey23/images/cake_web4.jpg](http://home.adelphia.net/~toomey23/images/cake_web4.jpg) ![http://home.adelphia.net/~toomey23/images/cake_web5.jpg](http://home.adelphia.net/~toomey23/images/cake_web5.jpg) Did not really finish until around 6pm today … man those people in those competitions really knock out a nice looking cake in 8 hours, granted they get to pre-bake their supplies ---
