That’s the damn truth. Sad to say, I had to dig around to find out who was still running. I been joking around saying I’m voting for nader.
Not until early this week being bored googled nader. surprised as hell to see he is infact running for president once again.

The media corrupted everything and only focused on the “serious” contenders.
I was all for ron paul. the so called interviews he did sounded actually legit. but who knows, he spoke a well game and we will never know how would he ever could do.
Seemed like a no bullshit kinda guy.

The media is definitely biased. I refuse to vote this year.
If their was a vote to see palin nude, The only vote this year i’d give.

seriously, vote for Bob Barr. He’s the closest thing to Ron Paul we can get right now, and if you vote for a Libertarian, it will do a lot more to further THEIR cause than a vote for Obama or McCant.

I honestly can’t. They are just too fucking retarded to even reply to. I don’t even know what the fuck point you’re trying to make. I mean, are you arguing that it’s GOOD that we’re importing all of our oil and thus exporting all of our money?

mother fucker you’re the one proposing money to the ‘lower class’ and taxing the higher… read the fucking thread.

you are good at obfuscating from the point when you are at a loss for words… which is why you think you have valid political points… congrats.

you said that the taxes are hidden from the public. that is false.

you said we need to stop importing oil, yet my point is that the extract export and import process is all done using american owned and funded companies…

you say people should get thier own jobs and be held accountable for their personal income… yet believe in giving more rebates and handouts to those groups of people, all the while taking away from successful americans.

I’m a Libertarian. I don’t propose giving anyone free money. I do however, think that the system should be designed to help people pull themselves out of destitution, rather than keeping them in it. If you are willing to work hard and be responsible.

> you are good at obfuscating from the point when you are at a loss for words… which is why you think you have valid political points… congrats.

what?

> you said that the taxes are hidden from the public. that is false.

I said that no one pays any fucking attention to the SPENDING. If you read and pay attention to what I’m saying perhaps we wouldn’t have this disconnect.

> you said we need to stop importing oil, yet my point is that the extract export and import process is all done using american owned and funded companies

:ugh: you’re saying we need to keep importing oil because US companies do the actual physical importing of the oil. Thats fucking brilliant.

> you say people should get thier own jobs and be held accountable for their personal income… yet believe in giving more rebates and handouts to those groups of people, all the while taking away from successful americans.

What in the fuck are you talking about. I’M A LIBERTARIAN. If it was up to me, I’d abolish welfare. I just think that those that have made uber millions should have to pay more than someone that is trying to pull themselves up by their bootstraps.

> what?

you ignore reason and logic

> I said that no one pays any fucking attention to the SPENDING. If you read and pay attention to what I’m saying perhaps we wouldn’t have this disconnect.

read it… pay attention to it… what do you want? it’s public knowledge… it’s not the governments fault that 90% of the populous doesn’t care to even research it. As was my point with your comment about it not being paid attention to or researched.

> :ugh: you’re saying we need to keep importing oil because US companies do the actual physical importing of the oil. Thats fucking brilliant.

talk about disconnect… where did i proposed importing? my point is that the importing process, even over seas, is controlled and run by american based companies…

people that have millions do pay more of a dollar amount, it’s a percentage of your worth. Why would someone be penalized for being successful? Do you not see the fundamental flaw with that?

they can. Who said they cant? I’m talking about the people that are ON welfare now, sitting on their asses collecting a check because they are lazy faggots. I’m saying if you want to get a check and you CAN work, then I say we find something for them to do.

> it… pay attention to it… what do you want? it’s public knowledge… it’s not the governments fault that 90% of the populous doesn’t care to even research it. As was my point with your comment about it not being paid attention to or researched.

It IS the governments fault. It’s not the John Q. Public’s responsibility to know every line item on every budget proposal and last minute pork attatchments. You really dont think that it’s the govt’s job to make sure our tax dollars are spent in a productive, non-wasteful manner?

> talk about disconnect… where did i proposed importing? my point is that the importing process, even over seas, is controlled and run by american based companies…

Who cares if they are American based? They could be based out of Sexywhitechicks’s vulva for all I care. It’s where they are getting their oil and where the profits are going that concerns me. And those profits are going to the people that actually OWN the oil. Which are the people that own the land, not the oil companies. But I probably don’t know much about that. It is only my job and shit in the winter time.

> people that have millions do pay more of a dollar amount, it’s a percentage of your worth. Why would someone be penalized for being successful? Do you not see the fundamental flaw with that?

I can see the disagreement. However, imagine we’re playing a game of monopoly ( :kekegay: ). Say one asshole gets all of the money. And instead of using it to buy shit (aka REINVESTING), he just let’s it sit in his account. What happens to everyone else? They are fucked because there isnt enough wealth to go around for everyone else to pay for their shit. We need to get these super rich fuckholes to INVEST THEIR MONEY. Any money that you invest you don’t have to pay taxes on. So if you want to save on the taxes, get your money out there and get it working. Otherwise the upper 10% will just suck all of the wealth right out of the middle class.

Sonny, are you seriously arguing against progressive taxation? Someone in their first shitty min wage job, working full time, makes $1200/month BEFORE taxes. If we implement the often proposed flat tax (the number I frequently hear is 17%) and eliminate government handouts, the person we’re talking about now makes under $1000/month. If we assume no car ownership, no health insurance, no prospect of secondary education, no children, and living in a roach-infested crackhouse, $1000/month will probably cover living expenses.

we really need to raise the minimum wage to a level that means something. Unfettered capitalism, for some reason, doesn’t bring out the best in people.

I also love all the welfare arguments made by people who have probably never known anyone receiving it.

I have a relative who, in her early forties, got out of an abusive marriage with nothing but a suitcase and no skills to speak of (unless housefrau is a marketable skill). She used the welfare system while training to be a bus driver, then used food stamps to supplement her income while schooling to be an RN. She’s now been an RN for nearly twenty years. That is why I will always support such programs. If there’s exploitation in the system, you stop the exploitation; You don’t toss the whole thing out.
