# 19 Year Old Girl's Life Claimed by Rt.28 accident

This was a girl I was in high school with that was a fun smiling person who is no longer with us, it sucks to see someone you know pass due to a car accident. This marks 2 people from my school within 2 months. Who knows exactly what happened, but I think its safe to say, we all need to keep our eyes on the road. There are way too many bad drivers on the road we all need to be careful, and keep in the back of our minds that there is not ONE speed we can reach that would be worth the final outcome that could occur.

make me wonder who the engineers and saftey officals are… i mean when is enough enough?.. like why didnt they divide the high level bridge when they redid it? they dont need sidewalks on two sides. that section of 28 should have a divider like lebanon church rd.

they are in the process of making 28 3 lanes each way with a divider. My gf’s sister is working relocating all those homes and buying them up. the church is the biggest problem but I believe that was resolved. Unfortunately it will take a few years for all that to get complete. Boy will it be a mess during the construction.

can’t put up a jersey barrier down the middle of the that road. 4 big rigs can barely fit just as it is, one has to ride the opposing trailer so the tractors mirriors dont slap toghether.
I never had the balls to ride in the left lane in either way, Pretty much everyone rides the yellow line.
Pat buses are the worst to pass because sometimes you have to when they stop. There mirriors sit lower than any other BIG vehicle. 4 wheelers dont give a fuck on that road, they will make you ride the curb if need be :rolleyes:
Good thing they are redoing the stretch, it needs improved in the worst way.

I was out that night and had to cross the bridge into lawrenceville because both lanes of the road were closed.
I wondered what had happened.
