# 1971 Grand Prix

my dad is talking out his ass!
sitting here saying his car can get to 110mph before the 1/4 mile marker at the track 🤣 and he’ll see AT LEAST low 14’s.
if im not mistaken, 110mph traps are what? high 12’s low 13’s?
Its a stock 71 grand prix with a 455bb and 400turbo trans
just has flowmaster true duals on it.
I’m guessing low 15’s or high 14’s
(keep in mind, this is a 4500lb car)
whats your guessimates?
i told him to take it up on weds and he runs lower then a 14.5 I’ll pay his entrance fee.

now he says he can borrow slicks from a guy at work and run even faster then low 14’s lol

Mexican supercharger FTW
1971 Grand Prix sweet, my dad had a 1970 Model J. What a sweet ride. The Hood was as long as my Cavalier.

There were two 455’s that year…one was 325hp and the other 370hp…do you know which one he has? I am pretty sure most were the 325hp…I would say 15.8-16.5 range…still faster than your Neon

put some stickers on it, they will make it faster.
