# 1973 Triumph Tiger

Well the vintage bike made me think about mine. _ **Testing Waters Mainly** _

Its a 1973 Triumph Tiger.  
I have a book of papers on it. Little back story: Bike was purchased by a guy in the Air Force new in 73 in the UK. He got papers for it and brought it back to the states. He was deployed and never rode the bike again. He sold it to an old guy in the oil field who sold it a VP of an oil company. It stayed in his garage for another 10 years or so. I want to say the bike has like 6,000 original miles, I’ll check when I get home.

Clean Texas title (bikes in Houston).  
New Tires  
New gas tank valves  
New ignition system  
Three exhausts

I’ll grab more current pictures when I get back from Chile. I’ll take $3500, bottom dollar. These things are pretty rare and the 73 is the last year they came from Britain. Mine has some rare parts that are 73 specific. Can get it to Buffalo.

you SHOULD finish it and ride. Coldaccord’s dad might be interested though…
