Have you tried looking at the motorcycle “junkyards” around the area?
I know of several sources that might have some parts for you YZ250.
Kneppers. Located in Somerset/Bakersville area.
National Cycle Works out on 136 heading towards West Newton. They have some old stuff down in the basement. They can also get some older stuff nobody really seems to be able to get.
Bill. This guy is located behind (not directly) the Large Hotel on 51. He frequently has an ad in the PennySaver trying to buy old dirtbike parts. He specializes in the older stuff. If you can’t find the number, I will dig it up for you when I get home.
What about Partsfish? [PartsFish](http://www.powersportspro.com/) Here you can look at an online fiche of your bike.
I don’t know exactly where you are, but Millers Yamaha on 51 also has an online parts fiche. I ordered a few items from Millers for my 81. Goofy things like the crank woodruff key and some special fasteners. They are close, so I just drove to get them.
