Tigers were in the same spot last year and they made the World Series. Yankess in 2000 was the same deal, they were ass up until the playoffs and oh, they won that year too. The Yankees are sure getting on track fast with developing their own players instead of buying what they need. 8 out of 37 isn’t much of an argument for showing how much you team DOESN’T buy players. I know there our more, but it would be more effective to list them all. ---

And dont get me started on the braves and how well they do in the playoffs. Having a great farm system actually means winning something once in a while. blah blah the yankees buy everyone, its getting old, get over it. I was actually agreeing with you that the Yankees don’t but players. I guess 14 division pennants isn’t winning anything. Did I mention thats the best mark in all 4 major sports? They are doing fine without spending millions to fill holes like the Yankees. I guess having all 9 starters come from the farm system for more than 30 games last season = a weak farm system :gotme: ---
