So everyone here knows I have a vintage bike issue (in that I buy too many)… This one was part of a joint purchase between myself and Checko on here…this one has to go. 1979 Yamaha XS750, three-cylinder. Black in color with some extras and only 31,xxx miles on it. Needs very little work. Things we’ve addressed: -carbs rebuilt -new battery -new oil and filter -new plugs -refresh the brake system Things the previous owner added: -de-baffled pipes (sounds damn good) -windscreen (nice for highway riding) -aftermarket seat (nice on the tush) -luggage rail/backrest combo (make the lady comfortable) -aftermarket airbox setup Things we know it needs: -headlight bulb -MAYBE intake boots (runs really well but they are cracked) -front tire is showing a little dryrot but lots of tread. Based on current market and other for-sale ads for identical make/model/year, We are asking(see below for price)for this bike. Neither of us would hesitate to register this thing and immediately be riding it…really a good bike for the money. Clean title. Very motivated to sell. You can PM either of us about the bike, but it is located at checko’s place in S.Buffalo and I have the title in my possession. bump, trades (or partial trades) for other motorcycles or cars could be considered. trying to avoid CL on this one, would rather it go to someone that will take care of it or make it rad. ---

bump. Looking to move this asap. bottom dollar price drop of $900 FIRM. you will NOT find a better bike for this much money ANYWHERE PERIOD. I found another project that I want and I can only swing it if this AND my bobber sell. ---

really? nobody is in the market for a pretty bulletproof turnkey bike with plenty of power for $900!?!?!? Willing to work out a deal on customizing it to your liking as well. ---

Would trade for a quality working lathe, or would throw in my bobber towards a quality mill. would also trade for a 67-72 ford F100 of comparable value (I.E. not running or missing drivetrain) ---
