Gary built toms dsm, with like 10k in it, and it didnt run 7’s plus it was broken all the time. So even if you get a few runs in, its a dsm it will be broken, all the time. Plus my cars, much much lighter 🙂 ---

Why was just that portion of the car sanded/down to bare metal? ---

the first 2 pics are from when i got it. previous owner started stripping paint. i got a bunch further than had to put it outside to work in the garage on something else, so i painted all the bare metal very fastly with rusty metal primer. planned on finishing stripping all the paint that wasnt stripped off the car come warmer weather and getting the whole thing in rusty metal primer and satin black, white interior. Probabaly going to have to do it now considering everyone on the forum is poor or likes to go slow / wants a 3klb domestic because it has paint and less mods. I wish I had a motor and trans I didnt want sitting around, I could slap this together in a month turn key and get 3500 all day, with a stock 350/cam/stock trans and probabaly still run high 7’s ---
