Nice,I had a Silver 83 when it was only a few years old. Probably one of the most fun cars I have ever owned. Whats with the vinyl interior? Thought they were all cloth.

It’s a gti. I was told that they had blue seats stock I’m not sure if they were cloth or leather. People are telling me these have been refinished. If that’s the case they will definitely get replaced, they are ugly as hell haha

Mine was a GTI as well. They were blue cloth Recaro’s.

Looks like they just recovered the factory recaro’s in vinyl. I’d look for an upholstery kit. This is the original upholstery it came with.
