# 1986 Porsche 944 (Non-Turbo)

I am posting this for a guy I know. If you have any questions let me know or I can get you in contact with the seller (See below).
Car was brought up to NY a few years ago from Virginia. Overall the body is in really nice shape. This car needs very little to make it a very enjoyable car.
139,648 miles
5 Spd
4 Cylinder (No idea about these motors)
Gold Exterior
Light/Dark Brown Interior
Removable Roof Panel
**The Bad:**
_Mechanical/Electrical_
Needs a New Clutch - This is why it is being sold. The owner does not want to bother with it. He is an older guy and has a really nice Benz he drives.
Front Passenger Turn Signal is out. Not a big deal but needs to be fixed for inspection.
_Appearance_
Exterior - Paint has a few scuffs but it is really well kept. A good polish will get this in the 95% range. There is some wax build up on the rubber spoiler as well. Yes, rubber. I never knew, pretty neat.
Interior - Dash is severly cracked, Shift Boot literally disintegrated, and the carpet needs a really good cleaning. Seats look good and headliner is in tact with shade.
Asking $1,495. My jaw dropped when I heard that. I think it is a steal.

i want this.
clutch will be about 700 bucks for the parts. glue cracks and wrap dash in leather, stitch up a new shift boot and give it a nice cleaning this would be a sweet cruiser.

Exactly.
I tell you what, I almost bought this even though I know NOTHING about these. But, I have a lot to do with my MR2 this winter and I don’t want another project.
Car is located in Colden. Go check it out!

Nope. This is the first time it has been up for sale. I may put it on CL for the first time if this does not sell today. I already got 4 PMs.
EDIT: You may have this confused with the one in Boston. Not the same. Ths one has literally been for sale for 2 hours.

Just a quick bump. Went down to where the car was and the guy I sold it to ran over it with a jacked up f 250 !!!. Car was never even driven since sold in 2010.
Such a shame as car was soooooo clean. Still rust free I guess
