# 1991 240sx for sale

**Description:**
I’m in the process of buying a new house so I could use the extra funds to get our current house in show shape, so I’m putting the car up for sale. The car will be sold as is. I’m asking $2500. The car pulls strong and has run good since I put it on the road in May, 2008. I have noticed that I think the throw out bearing on the transmission is starting to go as occasionally it makes a noise when the clutch is pressed in. It also has a slow battery drain that I haven’t bothered to pin point yet. I just put in a auto battery shutoff from Canadian Tire so I turn it off at night and I wired the radio direct to the battery so it keeps it’s memory. This car has been restored by myself. It has a different KA in it that I got from Avery on SON. The car has about 250K on it, motor about 170k. The car has been repainted BMW lemans blue. All rust was cut out and new metal welded in. This car is in great shape body-wise, way better than 90% of the s13’s out there. Car is completely stock, no modifications have been done yet.
So to recap.
The Good:
-Body in great shape
-Runs strong
-Was just safetied and etested in May, 08
-Repainted
-All standard rust/rott spots have been repaired with new metal welded in.
Frame is solid.
The Bad:
-standard KA timing chain rattle
-Throw out bearing needs replace
-A/C not working, haven’t bothered to troubleshoot it.

It has another s13 KA in it, I will get some pictures of the engine bay and frame rails up ASAP. In the meantime you can check the build thread and there are pictures in there of all the work that was done to it.

Passenger shock tower has been repaired with new metal welded in.
Driver shock tower has been repaired with new metal welded in.
Interior has been changed to all black

Both rear quarter panels have been cut out and junkyard ones welded, smoothed over with fiberglass.
passenger frame rails and floor have had rust cut out and new metal welded in
and covered with POR15
Driver frame rails ahdn floor have had rust cut out and new metal welded in and covered with POR15. Go ahead take your hammer and magnets, no or fiberglass here
Wheel well hole patched with metal and covered in POR15

^good question. Answer, yes it passed safety by a creditable shop here in barrie, they do all the work on our Rogers’ trucks.
