**1991 Toyota Soarer GT twin turbo _… 5 speed manual_**
The following car is currently available through a supplier in Japan - the price is 480,000 yen FOB, which should work out to be **around $8,400 landed** including estimated costs for shipping, import duty, GST, AC tax and our service fee _(excluding registration/inspection costs)_
The initial payment should be around $4,800 for the FOB price of the car, plus $1000 for our service fee. Payment for the ocean freight would be due when the car has been shipped - the remaining fees for local port charges, import duty, GST and AC tax will not need to be paid until the car arrives in Canada.

I forgot to mention that this car was built in August 1991 so it’s legal for import to Canada in August this year (around 5 weeks)
There are a few around with 5 speed manual but this is the first FACTORY fitted 5 speed manual allowed for import soon.

how much are the registration costs around? and how high is the insurance on this car?

Registration costs are the same for any car, if you are unsure then you should contact your local registration authority to find out specifically.
Insurance rates will vary heaps for different people based on your driving history, where you live exactly, etc. so again you will have to call around to get quotes for yourself.

what would it cost to have it given a BC vin so i could have certification and emmisions done localy with a temp permit

Not sure how easy it will be to get a VIN issued in BC first, sounds like it would be easy but I would expect it to be a lot harder than it sounds … best to call the registration guys in BC to find out more.

you should register on gtrcanada and ask some of the bc locals.
