The tercelerator (aka terslug, aka tersloth) is for sale! It’s time for me to upgrade now that I’m done with school. Price is $650 FIRM 1991 Toyota Tercel DX 1.5L 4 cylinder engine 177,500 miles 5 speed Pros: -Aftermarket rims on 14" tires- approx. 5k miles on tires -Kenwood CD player -Sony Xplod speakers -New Windshield- 6/2009 -New Starter- 12/2008 -New Spark Plugs- 12/2008 -New Radiator, E-brake, power steering hard line, gas tank, brake pads- @ approx 160k miles -Gets 30 MPG city and 40 MPG on the highway -Heat is great for the winter, rear defrost is excellent -XM Satellite Radio is wired in, just need the actual unit -Scion badge on trunk, adds about 5hp 😛 -NYS inspection good through 01/2010 Cons: -Rusty, Far from pretty, Interior is a bit dirty -A/C needs a recharge, I never used it so it didn’t matter -When filling up, I think there’s a leak near the filler neck. You just have to watch when you get close to full as some gas will drip. -There was a gas line that had a leak and was patched. However now the gas lines hang a little lower from the car. It’s nothing that has ever given me a problem, but you just have to be careful not to bottom out. Other than that, I can’t think of anything else wrong. It still runs great, gets excellent gas mileage, and shifts well. This car was used in college and for my daily commute to work and never let me down. This would make a great college DD or winter beater. I’ve driven this through Buffalo winters and CNY winters. It does a good job in the snow. Car is located in Amherst. PM me if you are interested. The gas lines are normally tucked up to the underside by a plastic piece. That is the large black piece you see there. So it’s never caused a problem for me because even in the rare event that I went up a steep entrance or hit a deep pothole, the plastic still took the blow. ---
