# 1992 Swift Gt starting problem.

I just bought my swift less than a week ago. I tried to start it last night and the battery was dead. So I charged it and took the charge and drove fine. Well today it was dead again when I tried to start it. So i charged the battery again. Started fine drove it for a half hour. Tried starting it right after i parked it, started but could tell the battery lost some of its juice. I tried a hour after I parked it and it was dead. Does anyone have any ideas or tip to help me out? Any help would be appreciate, I’m not very mechanically knowledgeable.

dead cell in battery or bad alternator. wasn’t quite enough details in your description to decide which. put a volt meter on the battery terminals and start it. if the reading goes up when it runs then replace the battery, if not then try the alternator
