hey im new to the site,i love my car n i have put alot of wrk into it recently,i jus swapped out the d16z6 for a 5spd b18b1, it runs,i got it running off of the stock p28 vtec ecu,ive herd i can/ cant use it,im looking for opinions,right now it keeps over heating on me and has power surges?:wtf it has a new headgasket,timing belt and valve cover gasket,im thinking maybe i have the vacuum lines messed up??? can i get a couple of pointers please,thanks in advaced

I have a B18b head with 60k on it. It’s got crower double springs W/ titanium keepers/retainers. 200 bucks. Comes with head intake mani and valve cover.I also have ARP head studs for a B18b

no my car is baby blue with steelies n integra hubcaps(jus sold my nice rims thats y they r on there for now) and i have tinted halo headlights, stock body,n blacked out tinted tail lioghts, soon to have widebody fender flares,15" rota’s, turbo kit,front end typr r conversion from a 2000 integra type r,leaving the body stock besides the fender flares n im goin with a real deep plum purple for the paint, and i also did the integra dash,gauge n center consol on the inside,im gonna add pics soon,jus havnt had time

i dont understand y it is still over heating and having the power loss,it has a bn headgasket,timing belt,valve cover gasket,thermostat and radiator??? im kinda confused

you dont need wide body fender flares on your car i woud concentrate on your over heating issue pronto.

also i dnt get the power surges i think it might b my ecu cuz my motor b4 was doin the same exact thing so im thinking the ecu is junk,its a p28 some ppl tell me “yea its ok to run a b18 off it” n some ppl say “no way” any of u know where i can get an obd1 to obd2 jumper harness to hook up my p75 ecu i have?
