I have a MINT\* 98 BMW 540i V8 with VANOS engine 6 Speed Manual. NEVER seen salt and only summer driven. I’ve only owned it for almost 2 years and bought it bone stock and turned it into M Tech look. Lots of cosmetics and engine is BONE STOCK because its already a V8. VERY Clean and not a single rust on it! Paint looks brand new and polished/waxed once a week. _Since 98 1st Owner/From 2010 for 3 months NEVER plated and driven 2nd Owner/From 2010 to NOW 3rd Owner_ This beast is only fed 91 Octane from Shell. i used to have an e39, and they RIP. for such a big car they really move. such a smooth driving car too. free bump ---
