Posting this up for a friend in Niagara Falls. Hes looking to sell his pretty clean 1998 GSX. Its a 5 speed AWD, 117k on the body and motor. But the original cluster decided to quit so he replaced it with one that reads 100k. It has a brand new yes knockoff evo3 16g running stock wastegate boost which is around 10-12psi, 3" HKS turboback exhaust(sounds real good), exedy stage 3 w/ aprox 1000 miles on it and short shifter. No rust anywhere, stored during the winters. Clean red exterior, clean grey leather interior red and black painted panels from the previous owner. Well hes asking 4300 firm which is a steal for how clean this 2g is. I know it seems low but the car has no problems besides the t-2slow going bad which led to the 16g turbo being put in and he lost interest in it. No crankwalk. Besides crankwalk is overrated to begin with, any motor could suffer from thrust bearing failure. Its just a cold term used alot on the net. Only things painted inside, are the door panels, air vents on doors, cup holder in the center, and panels under the dash. Isn’t too ugly ive seen worse. He was gonna paint the dash and panels black but it didn’t bother him that much. ---

Yes it used to be an auto. That doesn’t change anything. Swap was done right i wasn’t there to see it done but the tranny shifts perfect, clutch grabs. Swaps in dsms are not a pain like in other cars, such as a e36 in my case. With this 2g, it was ready for the swap. As if Mitsu had sketched out it was supposed to a 5 spd originally. ---

THIS CAR DOES NOT RUN!!! I went and looked at it. The kid said he would meet me at the Boulevard Mall and then as I’m almost there calls me and tells me he is in his friends Mazda 6 with HID’s. So I follow him there and the turbo isn’t even in the car yet. It is a clean car, clean underneath, good strut towers front and rear, leather is really good. Driver front fender is a little messed up but not bad, needs tires. The car will need to be tuned with the 16g turbo cause the kid is just planning on putting it in.
