i can see it from both sides! i just bought a truck and i know that if something went wrong and the previsous owner didn’t atleast split it with me i would be pissed.  
but then again who knows how he was driving it. and if it was fine or not before he bought it.

Being in the automotive industry all my life I have learned 2 things:

As a buyer:

Have a car checked out my 2 or 3 different mechanics before signing or puting any money down and purchasing.

As a seller:

Always sell “AS IS” What you see is what you get, nothing more nothing less, no warranty not even for 1 second or 1 foot…And only accept certified cheque or money transfer confirmed by your financial institution.
