A limited slip makes such a difference in a light(er) car for autocross that it’s practically a ‘must have’. Especially a FWD autocross car. Would never want to get rid of mine, personally. ---

I definitely envy his 1900lb curb weight. I’ll be lucky to check in at only half a ton heavier. ---

yeah an lsd is a must have for me as well. wish i had the coin to get one in my vw, but for now i’ll just have to enjoy it in the bimmer. ---

Hey, i seen your car at morgans last week, very nice, i wish i had 1900lbs of curb weight. as of right now mines 2723, lol must be nice, how much longer is it staying there, my best friend tom’s coming home from the army on the 3rd, hes got a Gen4 supra, but his dad has one of these… i gotta bring him by to see ---

morgan is good people… hooked, is it a scirocco 1 or scirocco 2? which motor, 8v or 16v? i have always had a soft spot for the scirocco 2. awesome car. my buddy used to have a gorgeous 86.5 16v. miss that car dearly. ---

It’s an 84 scirocco which is considered a scirocco II. Morgan should have the car for a few more weeks. We haven’t gotten around to re-tuning it yet, so whenever we get motivated to do it basically. It’s an 8v crossflow head with an audi 90 2.0 block, arp head studs turbo etc. as stated above. Stout abd tough like a good workhorse motor should be. ---
