Looking for a engine and auto transmission to fix a car with a broken 2.4 twin cam. Prefer low miles. May be interested in a buying a totaled car with a a good motor/ trans let me know. thanks

I think there is one in Binghamton, but won’t be here for more than a week. Can check tomorrow to make sure it’s still there. It’s in a u-pull here.

Depending on the year car you will be performing this swap in it is a lot of work. Did you do any research on swapping a 2.4 with a 2.2 Eco from what I have read and reviewed it’s almost not even worth it. You are better off selling your current car and getting one that came with a 2.2 Eco.

I have done some research and it seems that because the car is a 2001 the swap is fairly straight forward. [J-body.com](http://J-body.com) has the step by step breakdown.
