but aren’t you a criminal once you start a killing spree?
honestly, what we typically think of as a criminal isnt going to do something like this, these things are done by people to draw attention to themselves, become famous, get their 15 minutes etc. not a typical criminal that is looking to fly under the radar and make money.

Innocent until proven guilty.
Technically these guys aren’t criminal until after the spree not at the time. So post death. Afaik.
These are average people going out with a bang as their way off saying fuck you to the world. They aren’t looking for money, they aren’t looking for respect, they aren’t looking to protect their “crew” from another gang. They simply don’t care for this world.
