I don’t feel like waiting to have my thread approved in gen auto so i am just posting here… i need to check the level of my power steering fluid however i can not find the cap for it under the hood. the book says its located next to the coolant reservoir low in the engine compartment. me and a buddy looked for 30min and could not locate it… any help would be appreciated.

It is under the alternator. You will need a flashlight . The cap and reservoir can be seen behind and under the alternator on the passenger side of the car almost to the firewall. You need a thin arm and a small hand to reach it. If you need to add fluid, buy a long neck flexible funnel. It is not easily reached and probably not checked too often during regular servicing.
That took me about 1 second…
