Been a friend to the 518 MySpace page for awhile now, but just found out about the forum board here (thanks to Jason AKA Junun). Did a compression test, and heres teh results, from cylinder #1(timing belt side), to #4(tranny side): 165, 135, 65, 90. So, after ruling out the headgasket (it ran when I parked it, so it couldnt be the headgasket), and the rings (agian, it ran when it was parked), me and a couple of buddies think it might be a cracked block. I found a decent conditon B18a1 motor for cheap. What better reason to swap it in. 😃 So, Im gonna be updating this thread (first post) with updated pictures, as I tear down, build up, and swap the B in. Keep in mind, I have no engine lift or anything, so Im tearing it down piece by piece. Its urethane, and still in perfect condition. No scrapes or anything. Comes with 4 mounting screws. Fits perfectly, and is for 99-00 Civics. Lemme know! ---

But since its urethane, you can let it sit out in the sun for a few hours, then mount it. It’ll fit even better. It fits perfect right now as it is. Im ready to sell it whenever you can get the money. Like I said, Im using the money from the lip to get a Spoon style lip. Just lemme know whenever your ready. I can have it off in 10 minutes. :lol ---
