# 2000 Ford E250 Conversion Van Random Driveline Vibration and Shakes

I been trying to trace down this vibration/shake in my converison van for about 3 weeks now and im stumped, maybe someone else experienced this problem
Here is the problem.
Shaking in the van mild at 50mph and gets progessivelly worst and worst until its almost to a death wobble. It more in the chassis of the car then in the steering wheel vibration. Its sometimes randomly does not happen, it happens at different speed somethimg but mainly 60+mph.
Its more of a rear end shake/vibration
Vibration is still there even after i jacked the rear end up secured it and took the car up to 60mph and it still shook in the air so its definietly in the rear end.
Tired this with the wheel on and off the car when it was jacked up and no change what so ever. so it couldnt of been the wheels/rims/tires
This is what i have done so far
1. Swapped the rear wheels out for 2 spares that i have
No Change
2.Wheels balance and rotated
No Change
2. Inspected Rear Axles Timken Wheelbearing looked good but still went ahead and got brand new one for both sides. Also Inspected Differential, The Pin Bolt was broken when inspected so that was replaced
No Change
4.Driveshaft U-Joints Repleaced with brand new one
No Change
3. Checked Front End Tie Rod and Wheel Bearing they all look good. no play whatsoever in them
Things done as of today:
Had the driveshaft checked for out-of balance and its in balanced so its not the drive shaft.
What i havent dont that might be the answer is
Transmission Tailshaft Bearing
Transmission Tailshaft Bushing/Mount
So what are some opinion to might be the problem with it? that i might of overlooked?

Did you check the leaf spring bushings and shackle?

Pinion Bearings? Seeing you opened the rear up, how was the slop between the pinion/ring gears?

I’ve you’ve got it jacked up, see if they move at all when in gear and you’re applying power. You’ll likely see it shift under the torque. Or just look at them and see if the rubber bushing looks beat to shit/torn/etc.
Is it a 1 piece driveshaft? If its a 2 piece, have you checked/replaced the carrier bearing?

the pinion/ring gear had no slop and the pinion bearing also felt tight no play.

its a 1 piece aluminum driveshaft with steel yokes and new u joint i will have to look to see if there any play in the rubber bushing.

**problem resolved: rear drums were bad/unbalanced brought new drum and shaking is gone**

I’ve run cars on lifts and start removing parts until the problem goes away, wheels, rotors, drums, and so on.
