I think people are under estimating the weight difference between cars in this thread.

130-135 traps at a race weight above 3600lbs(if not more) takes a lot of jams

Yea, not producing, I was door to door with you not reving over 5500 rpms while blowing a charge pipe. You wanna talk about results. your 410 cubic inch motor only goes 11.4s. I built a fun street car, that when its fully workedout should be a 130 trap car. If i want to go faster i will open the bottle.

So before you start shooting off your man pleaser know what the fuck your talking about.

Supercharging these is totally an option.

The heads blow donkey balls though. And yes, 400whp will be stressing the whole driveline, but a cheaper termi is like $16 so…

I would probably swap a 4v with a t56 and build the rear end but building the 2v is an option that can get 600whp with 93 octane. And when comparing a big cam stroked windsor to a blown mod motor car one should definitely consider streetability. Blown mod motors can drive like stock with a ton of power, whereas a cammed stroker doesn’t. So if you wanna spend more money and have something that doesn’t scream for attention it’s a good option.

Didn’t you just list like $10k+ worth of mods?

Wouldn’t sell GT + 8k = Cobra

Cobra + pulley = 500rwhpish

Drives like stock spray 100shot

Wouldn’t a cheap 00 GT be like $3k? Sure _I’d_ go the cobra route but an 00 GT would make a good sleeper, and if it’s built you could do 600whp on pump, 900whp race gas.

Grow up people. Someone has an opinion and would build a car different. OMG OMG!!! lets fly off the handle and react like I rapped your sister and go into a keyboard swearing fit. Everyone would have built my car different, that’s so 2010. Yes my street motor goes much slower that all the solid roller, 225cc plus headed 7000+rpm other Ford smal blocks out there. It is so narrowed minded to simply judge a motor by it’s cubes lol.

Back to this thread I agree with deathproof on the 4v route.

why the hell would someone want to have a racecar that is over 3600lbs in weight? lighten that shit up.

Ahh…my bad. That’s still heavy even for a streetcar that you want to make “fast” imo.

Everyone doesn’t want to gut 15k+ cars

Toss a mild steel cage in a 03+ cobra with full interior and see what it weighs  I can tell you it’s a lot more then a stripped Sn95 with tubular suspension/kmember

you are incorrect. I have a full interior with everything in my car except a/c, hardly stripped. Greg’s 03 cobra already has a tubular k-member and front suspension same as me. He has sold rear which saved weight from his IRS. His car is a lot lighter than a stock Cobra. You can FUCK OFF JUSTIN until you have correct information.

Sweet so his Cobra that weighs more then a SN95 is lighter then it was stock

Just like your SN95 is lighter then stock

So at the end of the day one started at 3700lbs and the other started at 3300lbs

Edit: You’re also the one who POSTED about removing your back seats dumbass

The 03 cobra also added a mild steel cage vs chrome moly and other shit.

It’s not my fault you have some extremely flawed logic on trap speed

Yea I have a solid axle and a tubular front suspension, nut the last time I weighed it, I stripped it out with just a drivers seat and still with the irs and it was 3620 without me. The solid axle dropped probly 120# and +/-70 for the kmember the cage added atleast that much so my guess would be that it still weighs around 3600
