For those who may have craigslist blocked at work. For sale is my 2000 Volkswagen Jetta GLS TDI. It is fully loaded with every option available on a TDI in 2000. The car is super clean. No rips or stains in the interior, no rust or dents on the outside, and the paint still shines very well. The car runs perfect and is consistently getting an average of 50-52MPG per tank. I can go 750-770 miles between fill-ups and this is with a mix of about 75% Highway driving. The car shifts perfect into every gear with no grinds and the clutch grabs strong with 0 slip. The car has a full history with all the dealer maintained paperwork, and even still has the original window sticker. I would not hesitate to drive this car anywhere any distance. This car drives like new and looks nearly new too. Also I just put new tires on it in January. The car does have 266K miles on it, but you would never know it, and if you do not know much about these cars do some research as they run north of 450K miles without a rebuilt, and many people go longer than that. The only aftermarket upgrades to the car are an AUX input for iPod/MP3 players for the factory radio, Shark Fin antenna, a Block Heater, and a K&N air filter. There have been many new parts in the past year and the car was owned by a man who worked for an oil company before me who used 100% fully synthetic oil from day 1. Factory Options include… 1.9L Turbo Diesel Engine 5-Speed Manual Transmission Ice Cold A/C Monsoon Sound CD Cassette AM/FM Leather Interior Heated Seats Power Windows Power Locks Keyless entry Remote truck release One Touch up and down Windows Power Moon Roof Front and rear cup holders Factory VW Mudflaps Power Mirrors Heated Mirrors Alloy Wheels Two sets of VW Floor Mats Parts replaced in the past 18 Months (I have receipts for all of it)… New Factory Turbo New EGR Cooler New Control Arm Bushings New Tie Rod Ends New Ball Joints New Tires New Timing Belt New Water Pump New Glow Plugs New Glow Plug Harness The only flaws the car has are a few very minor scratches that you will not even see in the pictures, the glove box door tends to drop past the stops when it opens, and the passenger heated seat does not often work if it does at all anymore (The driver seat is still toasty warm). This car is very clean inside and out. It was 100% garage kept it’s whole life and always dealer maintained. This is likely the the cleanest example of a 2000 Jetta around regardless of mileage. You will not be disappointed with this car, I am 100% sure of that.
