01’ ZX3 Focus,this was purchased off the forum back in march,I have sunk a decent amount of money into it since then and its a pretty reliable beater.Its been my DD for the past few months and has never left me stranded.If you’re looking for fuel efficient and cheap,this is for you.It runs,it drives and will get you from A to B,inspection was done in march or April.Clutch grabs good,heat works,AC doesn’t work.Engine runs good,doesn’t leak or burn fluids,trans shifts smoothly in all gears.
This is what I’ve replaced so far starting with most recent.
2 rear wheel bearing hub assemblies (installed by carnut)
Coil pack
Plugs
Wires
Fuel Filter
Hood (its red,old one was rotted)
Rear hatch (its grey,old one was rotted)
Flex Pipe
Hydraulic Clutch Lines
Brakes
Tie Rod End
Fox tire just put on 2 new front tires with 70% tread life (last week)
The Bad : light pulsation when stopping
Don told me it needed a Tie Rod when it was in his shop
There is a slight “clunk” when turning in parking lots
Hood and Rear hatch are rock solid but paint doesn’t match
Exhaust is kinda ghetto but its not loud
Will get some pics up tomorrow.I’m open to trades/partial trades,I lost my job and a car isn’t a necessity right now,lol.
