Replacing it with a new Legacy. So up for sale: -2003 Mazda Protege ES (highest trim level except for MazdaSpeed turbo) -Purchased by my wife brand new at West Herr in Summer 2003. -5 speed manual, shifts like new -83,000 miles -Royal Blue exterior, black cloth interior -6 disc factory CD changer -Fog lights -ABS -EBD -Front and side airbags -4 wheel discs (discs and pads changed this summer) -Original clutch is getting high, but not slipping at all yet -Clutch chatters a bit if you’re lazy with the gas, but not at all if you know how to drive -I fixed one rust bubble on the RR wheelwell 2 years ago with POR15, no more rust there. There’s another bubble on the LR wheelwell that I haven’t gotten to yet. It’s not “rotten” (no brown showing through) but it should really be sanded down. Otherwise no rust at all. -Interior needs a good cleaning, but there are no rips, holes, or cracks anywhere -16" Alloy Wheels -Spoiler -Currently on STUDDED SNOWS who needs all wheel drive? :cjerk: The snows are noisy but they were originally on my father-in-law’s old car which must have had an alignment problem and cupped them. The car is perfectly quiet on the summer tires. You’ll just have to take my word for it, but most of you either know me or can guess that I’m honest. -Also comes with a set of nice grippy Nexen summer tires. Plenty of tread on both sets of tires. (Nexens are not on seperate rims) -Oh, the car was in 2 fender benders. Once on the front right, once on the rear right. Body damage only. Fixed under insurance (aka no expense spared, done properly) at Northtown Collision both times. Get some pictures and Autotrader it man. So few cars actually get sold on nyspeed, even less that cost more than $2000. Spend an hour or so detailing the interior. ---

And yeah once we get the new one I’m going to clean the shit out of this one, fix the little rust spot I mentioned, rent a rug doctor for the carpets, and make the thing so nice I won’t want to sell it. :roflpicard: It really would make a perfect little autocross car… ---

Looks like the engine bay of a 7 year old DD to me. 😛 For some reason the oil pan developed a case of Ford oil pan cancer so I replaced that last fall, otherwise nothing’s excessively rusty. ---
