No 300ZXs represented? (I guess I can take my share of the blame for that. :oops: )
Interesting observation from the pictures: Didn’t anyone have their cars roped off? Was every club’s booth just open for people to stroll right through? How hard was it to keep a good eye on everyone’s cars?

Nope, no 300’s were there. Most areas, including ours, were totally open for peeps to walk through and see the cars up close. There were a few closed booths, but they were the minority.
For me personally, if I pay $12 to get into a car show, I want to get right up on top of the cars at the show - but I’m also respectful of the vehicles and make sure that I don’t touch or scratch them.
As for keeping an eye on people in the booth, the open design allows very good sight lines, but we never had anyone give us a problem at all. I think the open booth design encourages people to come in and find out about the cars - at which point they’ll likely find out about the club as well.

And, when the Lethbridge guys came racing back half drunk and told that story the way they did…that was the absolute funniest moment of the day for me. :E

There actually was one jdm pretty much stock z32 and that was it. I think he was in the garage works booth I could be wrong though. I was kind of dissapointed as well with the lack of Z’s.

Sure. But ultimately the amount/degree of access to the cars should be up to the owners of the cars to decide, not the spectators, don’t you think?

That’s good to hear also. Hopefully the Edmonton show will be as lucky.
Personally I thought the way things were roped off at the EMDA show in February, including the V8Less booth and others downstairs, was not too bad. You could still see the cars well enough.

Sorry Flavio I had to leave, my girl caught me staring at the “shocker” chicks asses so she got mad and made me leave. Then we went to the bar later that night. Next time I won’t bring her. :lol: I am so whipped. Needless to say we went to the backalley that nite and I got in trouble there too. Oh and that was my jealous girlfriend in the passenger seat. And I did race you. lol. oh and the blue flames rock, lol.

Your car looks nice but what is up with all the red wire loom over hoses and stuff?? Seems to serve no purpose?? Just curious.

There is only one area with no-pupose red wire loom over the one hose from my inlet pipe… the other wire loom is actually over wire harnesses, so yes it does serve a purpose. It’s a show car anyhow, so I don’t exactly understand where you can’t understand why its there.
