what i ment by BOV is DV on 1.8t cuz many ppl dont know what DV is…if you know 1.8t engines you would know what i am talking about!!! A BOV and a DV more or less the same, and perform the same function. The difference in terminology is pretty much meaningless. ---

The problem here is that the people that DO know this engine are asking you questions regarding your incorrect terminology. Terminology is there for a reason, especially when explaining what your car has on it, and ESPECIALLY when trying to sell it. I suggest being as specific as possible and not assuming people know what you “meant” to say. It has a diverter valve, not a blow off valve. Just like it runs on gas, not diesel… Or it has a turbocharger, not a supercharger. See what i mean? ---
