Friday went to work and the Murano AWD 3.5 L ran fine, on the way home it started running rough and bucking. Sunday - now it just starts, runs real rough, for a bit then stalls. If I try to raise RPMs say to 2,500 it just backfires & stalls. Not sure where to start. Fuel pump? Not sure that would cause it to backfire. Crankshaft position sensor? Anybody have any ideas?

Borrowed a code scanner which retrieved a P0300 generic fault code (Cylinder Misfire Dected Random Cylinders), one of the possible causes is incorrect fuel pressure, went to check if there was a valve to check fuel pressure and noticed the air intake plenum was loose, tighened it and problem solved. Not sure why it was loose as I’ve only owned it a few months. Spent a few hours checking various forums so thanks to you guys that post possible solutions to questions. Makes for informing and interesting reading.
