I had to trade in our 07 SI to get our 06 Odyssey about 2 years ago, due to having 2 kids and no space for all of their possessions. We tried selling privately, but everyone who came to look at it was a waste of my time. (“Oh?! Its a 5 speed? I can’t drive stick. Nevermind.”) If a dealership is offering a fair trade in price… I have found it to be worth it. We were offered $10k at first dealership, and ended up getting about $13,500 at Ray Laks. We just traded in the 06 & picked up a 12 Odyssey last night…if you have to have a van, Odyssey is the way to go. ---
