# 2008 JETTA lighting trouble

OKay im trying to replace the city light in a 2008 jetta with a 194 led light , but it only works for about 8 seconds then cuts out … ?  
anyone help me out here :meh:

Maybe it needs an inline resistor?

they do need a resistor.  
Im not sure how many ohms though.
