> I know this guy. He contacted me on one of the evo forums. He does good work (I saw some of it) but I decided I wanted mine dyno tuned not street tuned. Thats why I suggested moon. I like seeing the numbers and progression for the tune. I don’t want to just say “I have more power now” I can say “It was baseline 282 and he got it up to 331 (or whatever)”

> Nothing wrong with this style, I just prefer dyno over street. My buddy with the twincharged Cobalt got his street tuned and still has no idea what power he is putting down. Sure, its damn fast, pulls like a freight train and idles like a a muscle car, but I don’t like the mystery around that. Thats all.

For fuck’s sake, can you keep your stupid opinions to yourself! just because the car started at 282 and makes 331 now doesnt mean that its making all the power it can make AND, it doesnt mean that it’s making it safely.

One more thing. ANY GOOD TUNER will tune the car on the dyno and then take it out on the street and clean up the maps. full throttle, part throttle just driving around in real life.

So, the next time you decide to give someone a shit idea. do a lil research first. moon is balls BTW i dont know of ONE fast evo or sti that came out of that dump way the hell up in lake placid or wherever they are.

Take the car to Morgan. He’s a great tuner and he’s right in our backyard.
