[Today is testing for sebring and acura is officially debuting their new lmp1 car, so far this is the only real good pic and details of the powerplant are not known yet. The big thing for me is the 2009 spec wing, which means maybe this car will be see some time in france 🙂 Another engine bay shot ---

Throw in a random aston, a gt40 or two, a viper (gotta have one backmarker :mamoru:) and the chance of 2-3 more porsches and you have a great field. ---

Looks like the acura is a 4.0l v8 with 620bhp and 370nm. Seems like they are making up for power with aero/mechanical grip. Should work well over here in the alms but will struggle against the diesels in the lms if the decide to run there. ---

why does the bottom front cross member look like it’s fixed? shouldn’t that be able to move with the rest of the suspension? ---

Look about a half inch more to the left and you’ll see the pivot location. The reason they might have a different style end is to minimize compliance. Compliance within a toe link assembly can lead to changes in the toe angle under load. Or it allows them to shim the toe link to set to toe to the desired angle. I’m pretty sure it’s for shimming ---

Closest race to you will be Mid Ohio or Road Atlanta.
