How long have you been on nyspeed? I have never once seen a callout at Watkins Glen or an Autocross, etc. I have seen threads about “track days” at these places but never a callout, or a greater than\> thread. 99% of the races are drag type races. I can respect cars that carve corners too, because there are a lot of good ones on here. Mocking a car that can hit the 60-foot beams with the rear tires and is faster than just about everything on here is wrong. Spooled cars can go around corners too, you just have to take it easy, and stay in when it’s raining, lol.

I guess longer then you cuz at one point there was talks for a roc vs buff drag and auto-x competition.

Mocking the car? no. Congrats, you built a drag car that you can drive on the streets and can wheelie. Hell I’d love a car that can wheelie. But don’t come here running your mouth trying to race people with what is truthfully more of a drag car then a street car. When your at that level, keep it on the track. Wanna race people, set up a track day. I’m sure that there would be alot of interest in that. I’d wanna see what I can do in the 1/4 so I’d even be down for that. You just came on here with a giant ego with your brother fastfocus having a huge boner over you and you think people will be cool about it and just wanna race you.

I don’t remember the autocross callout at all. I’ve been here since july of '05. I guess autocross isn’t nearly as popular on here. Would you agree? Driving a car setup for drag racing on the street is easier than driving a car setup for road racing on the street. The drag car will be much more comfortable as far as feeling every little bump and ripple on the road. I had an IROC with lower profile tires which was lowered 1 inch, and it handled very well (I am guessing maybe .90g’s) but it would pull all over the road unless it was dead-flat, and you literally felt every pebble that you would drive over. So getting a car setup for drag racing makes a little more sense to me if it is going to see some street time.

Im sick of the “He’s a tough guy cause he’s big” bullshit. I know tiny dudes that have rolled 250lb guys like they were stacking sacks of potatoes.

Those who are small will always be pussies if they think they will always get their asses kicked if someone is bigger than they are.

So true. Thank you.

I’m a small guy myself, 130-135 lbs, but what people don’t know is I’m a Black Belt in Isshinryu Karate…not saying I’m a bad ass, but don’t underestimate small guys, never know what they’re packing.

WTF is Isshinryu Karate? Do you wax cars and paint fences? Possibly sand floors?

> Isshin-Ryū (一心流, Isshin-ryū) is a style of Okinawan karate created by Tatsuo Shimabuku (島袋 龍夫) in approximately 1947/1948 (and named its present name on January 15, 1956). Isshin-Ryū karate is largely a synthesis of Shorin-ryū karate, Gojū-ryū karate, and kobudō. The name means, literally, "one heart method" (as in "wholehearted" or "complete"). In 1989 there were 336 branches of Isshin-ryū throughout the world (as recorded by the IWKA), most of which were concentrated in the United States.
